Amount of Memory installed on MSI NF980-G65

I would like to know or I am just curious to know how much amount of Ram installed on this motherboard. Did you install 4GB otherwise 8GB or else more on top of this Mobo? Furthermore it would be helpful to know which the most excellent ram is for this Mobo for an Intel otherwise AMD CPU.

    The main features are:
    • Support for all AM3 CPU
    • Triple-SLI and SLI
    • Hybrid SLI and Hybrid Power support
    • Ability to install 3-2-slot video cards thick

The card will be provided in the original box, but without guarantee. It is perfectly functional. Used for a few months with a 1055T the card showed excellent overclocking capabilities, overcoming the 300MHz fsb stable.

To the flood of motherboards for Intel's new Socket 1156 not to lose sight of other interesting things we want to present to you the new NF980-G65 MSI. It is certainly expected by many, because it is the only possibility is the use of a new Phenom II and Athlon II processor optionally in combination with DDR3 RAM and an SLI team. Whether it ultimately does what it promises but we will only learn in the near future.

Extend the RAM is the most simple and effective to increase the power and performance of your computer. Supplement or replace your current memory of 512 MB or 1024 by equipping your PC with this bar of Kingston 2 GB RAM. To do this, first check the number of memory slots available on the motherboard of your PC. According to this number (2 or 4), your RAM may reach 4096 MB or 8192 MB No software installation is required, just snap it to your new.

For a maximum MSI Microstar NF980-G65 - RAM upgrade can be installed up to 16GB of memory. The system has this on 4 (2 banks of 2) memory slots (-space).

To take advantage of dual-channel functionality to use, it is recommended that the memory in pairs (two identical memory modules) to assemble.

Maximum memory may still be different from those of the manufacturer as they may now be outdated. New storage technologies, and Bios - or software patches to make this possible at the same performance and stability.

Please note that due to the current limitation of 32bit operating systems with a maximum memory - can be used for upgrade of 4GB and larger only 3.12 GB of memory. Only for 64bit systems, your maximum RAM is used from a size of 4 GB full.

Each slot can be equipped with DDR3 PC3-10600, DDR3 PC3-16000, DDR3 PC3-14400 and up to 4GB of memory. The better performance is obtained with an identical memory modules installed in pairs. (Dual-channel mode)
