Unable to boot from USB flash drive in MSI K8N Neo4 motherboard

I have installed a new MSI K8N-Neo4 MS-7125 motherboard in my computer. It works perfectly with my HDD installed. However if I try to boot from bootable USB flash drive it doesn't work. However the system is previoulsy installed with Windows 7. Initially, I recognize that flash drive is functioning and it is bootable since I tried it on my laptop. There are 3 usb options and they are USB-HDD , USB-ZIP along with USB-FDD. There is no usb flash drive choice. I have tried to choose each and every one there of these individually except no luck. Is there anything missing during the boot process?

You must edit the BIOS in the boot sequence. Take on the Other Devices option or USB out. Was with me that way.

Until recently I had the same problem. After much searching, I found that exists in the file "boot.ini" a mistake. After the remedy I can again start with connected USB devices. In this file you get this: My Computer Properties Startup and Recovery Settings-Edit. This opens the program "Notepad" or "Boot Editor" with the first line "(boot loader)". The change must be in the line "multi (0) disk" and this should be done behind fastdetect / noguiboot / nodebug stand. Please note the spaces. When closing the file is asked for the store, which is to be confirmed.

There is no general answer. Every stick of it is different. Some need software, and some have even integrated as hardware, but this is more the exception! If you do not particularly expensive stick, goes only by software, as I said, it is installed from the CD, and little good. Done differently, I think not. The system boot with USB drives also takes me "forever", individual USB drives are sometimes not found. Apparently, the plates from bootup "overrun" because they do not respond quickly enough. Therefore, I start my external drives only when Windows is up. Not pretty, but it helps enormously.

Click on Options in the Explorer view and set the hook and there on all (including hidden) files. Now you see the C: / boot.ini file. If you double click this file to open the editor and you can make the changes in the form described above. I'm not sure whether the file is read-only under certain circumstances. If you have been in the properties of the file (right click on boot.ini), first take out the protection. After implementation of the action again read purely (if it was previously set!) And hide the file via Options / View again.

With the BIOS flash, I was glad I was able to do so. Have no floppy drives, long no longer. Did not the method of the Program would be a problem. One would think that even if it was a problem which often happens, that would not offer something MSI then to flash. But well.

I have a MSI K9N Neo V2 motherboard, currently with a microprocessor AMD AM2 X2 5200 +, 4GB Ram Kingston, and I'm installing an AMD X2 7850 Black Edition AM2 +. Therefore I want to upgrade the bios no problem to recognize the issue is that I have no floppy and I wanted to do with the program I found here USB Bootable tool MSIHQ and BIOS Helper, select the file you install. Updated version zip with the bios and ends telling me to restart and boot from the USB but do I get a sign stating that bootable partition is not in it. The usb only contains the files that created the program in the bios, as I can do?
