For solving this problem, you need to first check the sound card you inserted is properly connected to your motherboard or not. This sound card was not exactly lacking in quality, but that hasn't stopped the venerable audio card manufacturer. Most of the time, it happens that the sound card of the system not connected properly and hence such type of distortion sound arrives. Hence try to find out if there is any connection broken with this sound card or not. It yes, then reconnect such sound card.

I also faced the similar type of problem. This sound card features four different packages, all with the same audio card at its core but I also faced such distortion sound problem. Then I read several articles which normally states that this problem arrives because of the sound card has not been properly inserted onto this system. Hence I decided to do this task but I have no idea how to do this task. Then I search content related to this issue. One article on such site provides complete information about this connectivity. I use this information and after doing this reinsertion sound card task, it works to solve such distortion sound problem.

I try this sound card reinsertion task but it doesn’t help me to fix any such kind of issue. I don’t understand what happen on this system. Please provide me best solution that works to fix this trouble. The X-Audio has no TRUE 20KX DSP chip. It is a software based card. I think the problem is in software. I’m waiting your reply.

If you think that problem is related to the software, then simple way to fix this issue is to be go to system device manager and perform sound driver update task. This will be work in positive manner. You need to take help of online driver update task. This will be work to upgrade sound driver of the system. Online facility will automatically detect the sound card driver onto this system. In device manager, you need to double click on this sound card driver. Then it shows driver property window. You need to hit update driver option. This will be work to upgrade sound driver in online manner.

Instead of doing this upgrade driver task, they can also use reinstallation of driver process. This process has been work well. Sometimes, it quite possible that problem arrives due to sound driver not installed properly. Hence we need remove or uninstall this sound driver. Then reboot system and download appropriate driver onto it. This reinsertion sound driver will be work to fix your distortion sound problem. In this reinstall sound driver case, you can also take help of the motherboard driver installation CD. Try this combination and check what result arrives onto it.

It is also possible that the connection between this motherboard and speaker has been little broken because of some reasons. Hence I would recommend to you for try to make sure speaker of system has been properly connected to your motherboard or not. If it is not connected properly then reconnect it. After making this connection check what result arrives onto it.

I suspect standoffs underneath the board causing issues. Try to boot the hardware outside the chassis on a non-static surface. This is the solution that works in very rare cases. You need to just try these solutions. I hope it works in your case.

I don’t think there is necessary to do such type of complex task onto this motherboard. You require to first check another speaker has been properly work onto it or not. You can test with another set of speakers to reproduce the issue. If another speaker produces same type of sound at booting process, then try to perform necessary task on software as well as sound driver. Otherwise this problem is related to the speaker system. This is perfect way to find out that problem is related to the speaker or the sound card. Hence my suggestions are to be trying this process and check what result arrives onto it. if it gives same sound problem, then either reinstall or upgrade sound driver. Otherwise replace system speaker.

Seem to me that either the audio chip or the rear panel jack has some issue. If you have not able to fix this sound issue, then I would recommend to you for try to change the sound jack of this system panel. Mostly such things not happen but you need to try this solution. I hope that it works and in response it would be fix your sound distortion problem.
