Does AsRock Z68 motherboard overheats ?

Hi, I am planning to have a AsRock Z68 motherboard for my machine and when I was searching the internet I found various models and among them the one that I like the most was this one, but still I have some doubts as does board gets overheated after sometimes? If this is the basic problem regarding the board that means we shouldn’t get this, isn’t it? and if not then is it worthy to buy this board, or is there any other recommendation? Any would be appreciated.

I would say since last 5 years I have been a very loyal customer to the Gigabyte motherboards so I would like to suggest you that you should get the board from there only, because first of all I am not sure about the AsRock and the thing is like Gigabyte has very good market for the motherboards, and this is the very reputed brands for this product, though you are about to buy another I would like to recommend you that you should at least have a glance at some models from gigabyte as well.

No, I have the same board which doesn’t gave me any such overheating problem, so I would say you can surely buy this motherboard for sure. And let me tell you that the thing that enables the board to work exceeding the limit will result in overheating, so while using this product you should always make sure that you are not running any such application which don’t utilizes the CPU, and as this is model is not capable of overclocking so don’t ever try this or it may cause this problem.

I am agree with the above user as it’s always relies on different factors as the chipset that you uses, and for the particular hardware you must have to have a suitable driver or else it may cause the hardware to utilizes the more CPU and which will turn the hardware to be overheated. and this is not with this hardware only, the same thing happens with all the motherboard, if you don’t care about such a things you must have to pay for it for sure.

After seeing the above comments it seems that I should get this motherboard for myself and there isn’t any harm regarding the overheating, but still if suppose it happens to me then what can I d o next in order to avoid overheating? Is there any way rather precautions that we consider while using the machine? and if it gets overheated then what to do? Anyways thanks for the above suggestions.

You can have too many ways to prevent the hardware from overheating as you should always keep the machine in cool place, together with that you should always use the appropriate driver for the hardware you are using. and you can make use of thermal interface as well for keeping the CPU cool. And it would be really better to use this material before anything went wrong, rather than after happens wrong.
