    Doubling the Corsair CM3x2g1600C7

At this moment my motherboard is running with a set of Corsair CM3x2g1600C7 memory modules. This was enough till yesterday. But now I am thinking about upgrading my memory power. What I want is to double the memory to 12GB. The problem is I couldn’t able to buy those modules anymore and I no longer about to find it in the list. My question is, is it possible to add a separate type of memory or should I need to replace all the modules to a different one? Please suggest me something.

RAM is a physical resource and it is not possible to "emulate" a physical resource. Instead, there is virtual memory that is a function of the operating system (whichever you use) that is assigned by the space reserved on the hard drive to make the functions of an extension of RAM. Obviously this is not a method of multiplying or increasing RAM and actually storage media like hard disk remain slow (to read or write data) compared to a RAM module. Windows Vista uses a technology called "Boost" that does something, but with removable storage media (like USB flash drives or memory cards s), but I do not know much about it.

Do not believe, look no way to emulate or simulate more RAM, even masking the number would not help, it's something physical, there is no way to emulate it with software, what you can do is install a "memory refresher" that "drains" the ram, basically defragments your RAM more efficiently making it work, also keep your computer as cool as possible helps tremendously to the efficiency of your RAM modules. To really double your RAM, you need to an expense and buy another RAM module, depending on the specifications of your computer, specifically your motherboard will be the type of RAM you need.

RAM helps to resolve the burden of working hard, but unfortunately in your case the problem is not the GB of RAM, because GHz processor frequency. You need to double this thing but you cannot double GB of RAM. If you took the RAM from 512 MB to 1 GB of RAM you have doubled ... Now that is just enough to work decently (2 GB would be even better), whereas before it was just little.

Increase virtual memory, memory optimizer looks for a ram or rams card purchase. To modify the virtual memory settings:
    • Click the right mouse button on top of My Computer lying on the desktop and afterward click Properties.
    • Click Performance tab.
    • Click Virtual Memory, and afterward click Let me specify my own virtual memory settings.
    • Click on top of the hard disk to use for virtual memory and after that choose the minimum as well as maximum.
    • Click OK, OK over again and restart the PC.
