compatible intel core i7 processor

I want to purchase the suitable i7 core processor but I don’t know that which processor should I purchase my dad recommended me the i7 2820Qm and my friend recommended me the i72630QM and it is nearly $500. So is the 2820 faster than the 2630 please telling me the difference between this processor. Don’t just give me the difference between the money. Please let me know the difference. Thanking all in advanced for helping me and giving me the suggestions.

And there is not real value in the stepping on the 2820.

Thank you for giving me the replies and now I am thinking of purchasing the i7 2820 because it is having the fastest clock speed of 2.30 GHz. Now I am having the problem that from where I should buy the processor I want to buy it online.
