MSI880GM-E43 motherboard Audio giving crackling sound

My computer is having MSI 880GM E43 motherboard and running windows XP operating system. Well whenever I tried to play any music file or video file on the system of mine then I am receiving fuzzy crackling sounds doing the same. Also whenever I try to adjust the volume I get crackling sound from it. Now I am not aware of how to solve this issue, can anyone solve this issue and I get a normal sound from my computer and then use it properly.

After much searching I found that the installation of any software needs to uninstall or get rid of the previous version. So I would propose uninstalling all audio cards and after that they try to install the sound card Sound Blaster 5.1 VX and verify for the problem. And also test the device status and settings of the mixer. I feel this will facilitate to solve the predicament.
