I have noted that when CPU is idle then it the temperature is 48 to 55 degree Celsius. When I play games like Crysis then temperature reaches 100 or above, so please help me providing some solutions to do these things normal.

In order to verify the temperatures again I suggest you to use CPUID hardware monitor. This software provides you with the exact figures of temperature or heat generated inside the cabinet. Thus once you get these results you can confirm and repost these readings again or search for that over web to verify whether these reading s are normal or at higher risk. So download this utility by searching over web and it is available freely.

You are facing the high temperature problem might be because of overheating of your processor. If you have done some wrong or improper over clocking then this is an obvious problem that you would face. So better is to revert all the settings which you might have modified from BIOS. Some wrong settings may lead to damage of your internal computer hardware components. Go through the correct settings of your processor and then apply the same for it.

This problem might also be because of wrong cooling device. Your processor performs lots of task and it generates lots of heat so that is to be controlled by having additional fans on your cabinet. You may also choose to have thermal paste for your processor as this provides efficient cooling. If you just go for fans then see to it that these fans spins at higher speed so that it can blow out all the heat from your cabinet and thus the temperature of your cabinet would be under control.

The temperature of your system reaches maximum when you try to play games like Crisis. I guess this is happening because this game requires high graphics and your system is not able to provide enough graphics for this game and thus it is leading to overheating of processor. So just have a look on your graphic card and if needed try to upgrade it to some higher one as it would be able to support the high graphic game Crisis and you would be able to play it easily or just play games which require lower graphics.

If you have assemble your computer on your own then probably due to some wrong fitting your system is not having proper temperature control. So you should see for the heat sink and check that it is properly fitted, and then still the problem persists then try to have better heat sink for your computer which would absorb more heat from your computer. Then also check that all the fans are properly working so that each of them provide bit of cooling inside the computer.

If it is your recent built and if your processor is not compatible with the BIOS version that you are currently having then for that you should update your current BIOS firmware to a newer version. I guess doing this would let the BIOS to have all hardware upgrades and also the recommended settings for your processor. Thus this may remove the overheating issues and I guess this would help you to control the temperature of your system.
