MoBo is dying out – need help

Many of the times it works very well without any problem but once in a week when I try to turn it on then it comes up with the serious bashing. Therefore I placed my trusty 8 pound Asus PSU and it started behaving more funny. When I turn off the computer then also the fans and CPU keeps working slowly. Please suggest me that what should I do to resolve this problem. I have gone through all the things that I know to resolve this but that was helpless. Below is the specification of my system.

    MSI K8T Neo-V ( s754 + VIAK8T800 )
    Sempron 3200+
    1GB DDR400
    nVidia 7600gs APG
    Seagate Barracuda 80GB
    Win XP SP3 (fresh)

This can be the problem with the PSU that you are having in your computer. It might not providing the proper power supply to the system. It might be less or more than as expected by it. It it is possible for you then you can jtry with some other working PSU to see that solves the problem. If it resolves the issue then you need to buy a new PSU for your computer and that is the only solution for this that I can see at the time and I wish this will help you.

There is possibility that the RAM and the CPU are not set properly in the mobo and so it is showing that effect. It might have poor contact with the base. So remove them from their place and reseat them there again. You can change the slot for RAM if any extra slot is available for it. Changing the power supply is also a good suggestion but you should check for RAM and CPU connection before moving to the PSU. See if that helps you.

I don't consider that it is the power supply which is creating the issue. This Asus can bring above 200W on the 12V rail that is more than sufficient for the machine that that you are using. So changing the power supply will be just waste of your time and money. So see for all the possible solutions for this and if none of them works then only move to the things like PSU as there are very less chance that this can create the issues like this. This is just my suggestion to you and you can do what you feel good for you.

That power supply will not bring sufficient, since the lines are not spitted, as systems require 3.3 as well as 5V to the max lying on the 12V line is fewer afterward they list. Test next to a powersupply through 30A at 12V and you will come to know soon enough if PSU was the difficulty otherwise not. You might even need to open that PSU as well as ensure the capacitors yourself, I think they are bulging otherwise worse.

I would like to tell you that the AGP lever is troublesome many of the times. If you receive the motherboard outside the case then things are typically simpler and if you require making use of a tool similar to a screwdriver to shift it there is less danger of damage. Please list max amperes that PSU can accomplish on the different voltages. You discover it on the side of PSU box and expected somewhere on Internet. One can securely reduce those figures by 10 % in one year. There is also the thing of competence.
