Need some advice on front panel pin placement for Intel 945 motherboard

Hi is there anyone present here who can advice me something on this topic well I have the motherboard I just need some perfect advise on the pin placement of the motherboard that’s one topic which in need to get my hands on and I am not being able to get a thorough hand on it that’s the problem here, well the thing is that I am not able to get a perfect diagram of the front panel of the motherboard so can you all please help me out here I am waiting for the solution so do sort out the issue for me.

Ok lets get on started with it see what you have to do is first Locate the front panel audio header, now if you can see the jumpers then do disable them , now install a good audio cable which is correctly keyed and shielded. Now you need to connect the audio cable in to the front panel audio solution and then try replacing the cover, before performing this operations you need to make sure that all the switches are removed from the main power sources in order to prevent something weird happening in the system .

Ok yes I have tried that method out and what I would like to say here is that after having tried out the same method I noticed that my power led has 3 pins only 2 wires green and white so sorry to say there is no space in which I can add some other wire as well in it, so basically the frustration level has reached its limit here just getting angry as the day is passing on that why is it that it is not working with me only, do you all have any other methods or solutions for me then do let me know about it I am waiting for the solutions.

Ok you might have put the motherboard cable in some different case and hence this kind of problem here, try to look for some converter cable that will fix the problem for you so do look out for the same as well. That will also be a relevant solution for you. so if you are having the 3 wire connector then it does not have the middle wire so just by moving one wire into the middle you can connect and leave the blank one hanging off the edge so that’s one more option that you can give it a try hope you have understood what I am trying to say here.

Ok thanks again for that one thing that I would like to ask here is that here my pin 5 is saying ground so should I leave it alone or should I do something with that because as such I have no ground in order to connect it so please tell me about it as soon as possible I am waiting for the response from you all, as such I am not having any idea about it so it is better that you can give me some important tips on it as soon as possible so do reply fast ok I am waiting for the response from your side.

According to my knowledge Pin 5 is for the reset and the white wire should be of ground so I suppose you have mixed up terribly so do not mix up yourself that you forget the basics so that’s what I am trying to say here if you are so confused then better see the manual in the internet for more reference on the topic you will end up getting more information on it from there itself so basically just don’t confuse yourself you will get the solution provided you perform the actions patiently.

Ok I will look at that then if possible I will get the whole case replaced from the manufactures itself and then only try with the operations that you have suggested here so thanks for letting me know about the solution that you have specified here. Thanks for the solutions that you ahve given here i believe that i can get some more solutions for this issue so lets wait and watch for the same i am hoping that everything will work out really very well.
