I lately bought a Athlon II x2 255 CPU for a computer which I was repairing and following nearer examination I observed the Heat Sink did not wrap every part of the processor, fraction of the processor was only enclosed through the fins of the Heat Sink and while I attempted to install it to the computer rapidly shows BSOD and I must shut down. I then returned the processor to whom I purchased it from and they have promoted it to AMD. Does anybody else have came across this incident before?

The high end processor much require excellent cooling system like liquid cooling if necessary because they handle large amount of processes at time which affect to produce much amount of heat.
