Asus P8P67 deluxe motherboard shows red memory light for G.SKILL RAM

I have been trying to use one RAM with my ASUS P8P67 motherboard but I cannot make it. The RAM is G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600. No matter in which slot I put the RAM module the board shows the RED light and the LED Q-code ends at 30. It is showing me the error light. I don’t think that it is a bad RAM and there is no compatibility issue between those t products then what would be the problem?

I don’t think that it is the RAM module causing the problem. It is the cause of either your computer or only the motherboard. The motherboard which you have got might be defective to accept such a good RAM. Otherwise it may be also possible that you have overclocked the previous RAM speed and voltage and which is still remain unchanged. If this case so, then it might affect the new RAM module to work along with it. If you have done any overclocking to your computer then RESET it and see what you can get.

I heard that many users have been getting lots of issues with the ASUS motherboard and some RAM modules. When we look at the ASUS website about this motherboard, it tells that the board totally supports and compatible with Gskill RAM but in reality it won’t accept at all. Later the ASUS has itself told that the issue was hidden in some older BIOS version. Those who are still using the older version BIOS may get this kind of issue. I hope that in new version they have resolved it completely.

Is it about that particular RAM or for all kind of similar range RAM modules? If you are getting issue for all similar RAMs then you need to contact the ASUS to know about the board. Sometime the board name seems to be similar to other but when we deeply look into it we may get lots of difference from one product to another product. This is the same case for RAM. On the above the RAM modules look like similar wit similar speed but with different model number or serial number, you may get different result even with same motherboard. If it is the issue of only one kind of RAM then don’t worry about it much.

Turn of the system and clear the CMOS. Now power up the computer again and enter UEFI. There configure proper memory speed, timings, as well as voltage to reproduce the memory. You can set additional things depending on your needs. Reboot the system after saving the setting and enter into Windows. After one more restart the system will clears the Management Engine and make corrections to all tables. Occasionally the tables are not rearrange correctly following a UEFI (or BIOS) flash otherwise failed overclocks, this is particularly true while the MEI driver not loaded.

If you have no video and your processor glow is red, in that case your BIOS is almost certainly elder than you imagine. Ensure the sticker on top of the CPU on the edge of the motherboard. The very last 4 digits inform you what the BIOS edition is. Odds are, the trouble is you BIOS. It does not hold up that CPU. It desires to be updated. Unluckily, you cover no video. You ought to get in touch with ASUS. They'll have to mail you a fresh BIOS chip. They will wish for to charge you though it is a brand new motherboard and CPU package.
