Need help for upgrading AMD Athlon II 160u 1.8 GHz to Phenom II

The specification of computer is as follows.
    • Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
    • Processor :AMD Athlon(tm) II 160u Processor 1.80 GHz
    • Memory (RAM) - 2.00 GB
    • Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
    • HDD: 500GB
    • Monitor resolution - 1600x900

I want to make it faster than the current one. I know that it is enough for all of my needs but still if it is little faster it might be very helpful in the future. I imagine 1.80 GHz is insanely minute. Will it going to help me if I upgrade to an AMD Phenom II Processor? Otherwise should I go for an alternative graphics card for a replacement? If you anything to say about this I will be very much appreciated.

A new-fangled processor will absolutely assist you in that situation. Graphics are typically meant for gaming, consequently if you're very soon annoying to speed up the system on the whole that won't help out. Do you recognize what wattage PSU included in your CPU case? If you would like to improvement to an additional wattage starving processor you require ensuring the PSU can knob it. I would furthermore hang around for a petite bit previous to purchasing whatever thing, Sandy Bridge (Intel's innovative CPUs) are about to emerge, which may perhaps reason AMD's prices to dig up slash almost immediately.

I would express that to advance your processor as sooner than you accomplish whatever thing. If you are under the budget then it will be little helpful if you upgrade either CPU or RAM. Don’t go for GPU yet unless you are using your computer for some serious gaming. AMD platform is meant for gaming. If you are using the computer other than gaming purpose then the AMD is not the best choice for now. You should switch to Intel. But if you are considering your PC for both gaming and other purpose then of course you should get AMD phenom II.

I in actual fact wouldn't inconvenience by means of your motherboard in view of the fact that it's previously an AM3 socket. I would search out 4GB of RAM or 8GB if you can (depends on motherboard compatibility). I would recommend an elevated frequency (3.0GHz or enhanced) quad core Phenom II for some good speed. If you are looking for some real speed then buy a solid state disk (SSD). It is the best option to boost up the computer. Ensure it contains the sandforce 1200 series (comparable or superior) controller chip although.

I moreover have a sturdy sensitivity the motherboard was merely premeditated to power CPUs by means of an utmost TDP of 25W, or conceivably 45W. That harshly limits probable CPU advance alternatives toward "u" and perhaps "e" models simply. If you have your highlights locate on an AMD Phenom II upgrade, I consider you'll have to begin with a fresh motherboard as well as casing. You may possibly effort to obtain your motherboard's build and model, after that get in touch with the maker concerning the motherboard's supported processors and its TDP boundary.

If you can afford enough money then I really suggest you to get the phenom processor as soon as possible. They are meant to speed up the computing power. They are the most advanced processors. You will get supreme multi-core price by means of AMD Phenom II processors. They distribute the definitive Visual familiarity for high definition amusement, sophisticated multitasking presentation, and power-saving modernisms for slighter, cooler apparatus that are power proficient.
