Does upgrade will improve the performance of my NForce 790i Ultra MB E8400 Motherboard

I seem to improve my video card to the 570 GTX. Below is my setup:
    Code:
    NForce 790i Ultra Motherboard
    E8400 CPU Core 2 Duo 4 GHz
4 GB Ram DDR 3 Running at 1333
    GeForce 9800gx2
    operating system: windows Vista
I as well plan to improve RAM to 8 GB and operating system to Windows 7 afterward this year. I like to know if I should anticipate a big raise in performance with the 570 or it is a squander of wealth and I should just save for a novel system afterward next year that is 2012. I believe this will provide an immense boost. I would like to know from people with the similar setup and others which might have input. Any queries just ask, and also reply some suggestions.

I utilize to have the BFG 9800gx2 in SLI on an Evga 790 FTW. After that I switched to 2 x Evga GTX 280's because I was getting many microstutter with the 9800gx2's. I am currently a proud owner of a couple of Evga GTX 570's and once more its more regarding the softness and keeping the frames from plummeting to low. If you can play your games on elevated and you don't have as a minimum a 1920 x 1200 LCD then why switch? Will you observe dissimilarity is hard to utter on your setup. I think you have a fine balanced system and upgrading the video card could cause a few performances to be wasted.

Most important reason for the upgrading is overheating of the Video card. At chance times the fan just prevents. Restore the card twice because of burnout and the mother board one time. Have the fan running physical at 90 percent to 100 percent. Works improved but one time eventually the fan still stops and the card overheats and shuts down the whole thing. The rest of the PC stays cool. A few games are as well a bit leggy like Metro 2033. So I am hoping the novel card would assist the lag and fan heat trouble.

Your prime opponent in that system is the CPU. If you wish to keep the motherboard and improve the GPU, first pick up a well-matched Quad core CPU. Look at the support page, discover out what the board supports, and after that depart into the site and purchase a good utilized S775 Quad. After that overclock the CPU and put in in a novel GPU and there will be not anything out there you cannot play. There is no cause not to improve your Operating system to W7 x64 either.

At a least you should observe a few improvement with your min FPS. The major problem which I had with my older card in Crysis was that the min FPS would fall down to approximately not anything at elevated resolution. Even if your Avg FPS is around the similar, you should with any luck observe a boost down low making games extra playable. As well, you could seem into upgrading your CPU afterward down the line. The novel Sandy Bridge processors are worth quite low when offering immense performance. These chips as well have double channel memory controllers so you save slightly on memory expenses and you could probably use again presented memory if rated for 1.5 to 1.65v.
