Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS4 - Reboot loop mode

Hello, I presently switch case. I am making use of the similar components as previous to the switch. It was great earlier affecting case. On pressing the power button the 6 phase LEDs are lit. The PC after that cuts out by means of a red LED label S457. It after that restarts. Repeats this procedure over and over until the power supply is switch off. I cannot get into the BIOS. ). I have also attempted one memory stick at a time in dissimilar slots. Any thought what I am able to do to resolve it? Or will I have to obtain a new motherboard?I've also tried clearing the CMOS via 3 methods (removing battery, pressing clear CMOS button and shorting the 2 pins.) Also all fans are spinning. Your suggestion to resolve this issue would be appreciated.

Ok, having a strange problem. Anytime I shut the computer off, it goes back into the restart loop mode. I have figure out a means of fixing it while. The simple work of releasing and placing the CPU cooler caps one at a occasion resolves the trouble. On the next start, I obtain a message regarding getting better from a damaged BIOS. So just now I have attempted altering the bBIOS from f10b to f9. The BIOS update was very well. I reboot the computer after the update and same problem. Any idea what I be supposed to do?

It could well resolve the trouble only if the heatsink is positioned firmly as well. It may possibly just be a case of the CPU heating thermal shutdown temperature approximately the moment it is switch on.Make certain that all the old paste is cleaned off initial and after that apply the paste. If necessary make use of a little Isopropyl Alcohol.Hope this will resolve your issue.

OK, I place on a little Arctic MX-2. At what time the heatsink is pressed on it extend to approximately the frame of the CPU however not totally covering it. The problem is at a standstill persist, in fact I have not been able on the way to revolve it on once more. I have planned to order a new cooler but I do not be familiar with if it will resolve it or not.

In that case I will verify the CPU socket as well as make certain that you have no twisted pins. Take some close ups photos with superior lighting and place them here for us to test out. Moreover see at the pads on the processor and observe if each one of them has a spot in the centre viewing where the pin make contact with. You be able to photograph that and post the picture here.
