When Intel Core i7 990X Extreme is going to be launched

I have heard the rumors about Intel Core i7 990X Extreme being released. Is it true? If it is then when will it launch in the Indian market. I have heard about the Intel Core i7 980X and it is priced at a very high price. If any of you have got some details about the Intel Core i7 990X Extreme then please do let me know as soon as possible. As i am waiting to know about it. So if you get details then keep me updated.

I don't think it has been launched yet but its soon going to get launched. It will add the 990Xseries in the extreme edition that it has launched. However it is said that its going to be much faster than the latest 980X model launched by the intel processors. It is based on the Intel's 32nm Gulftown architecture and will be priced lower than the 980X model. It will be having the same 6 cores and 12 threads same as that of the 980X model. It will come with a 3-channel memory controller and 130W TDP. Hope this information is enough for you.

If you look at the cycle speed then let me tell you the clock speed of the Intel Core i7 990X is 3.46GHz which is 133MHz faster than the earlier 980X model which is 3.33GHz. The turbo boost feature will allow the processor to take the speed of 3.6GHz. However the main part of it is the overclocking speed. Overclocking will allow the speed to reach the 4.3GHz in full stability without any complications. As per as the price tag is concerned we are hoping that it will be much lower than the earlier processor's had.

If you talk about the launch in the Indian market, i have no idea. It is said that it will be launched mostly in the next year i.e 2011. So lets hope that it will be launched in the Indian market at that same time only. Well, talking about the price it will not be much higher than the 980X mostly it will be around $990. The price was an issue with the 980X model so i don't think that intel people will raise it much further. So i hope you have got the exact details.
