    Defected Core i5-760

Hello friends, I am in a big where I need your help. I have a computer where I tried and some technicians have also tried but still they are not able to find the problem. I don’t know how to fix the problem? I have a Intel Core i5-760 processor with 4 GB DDR3 RAM which also includes Zotac Geforce GTX 469 and a Gigabyte GA-p55-USB3. This is the configuration of the system where I have installed windows 7 which have an error so I made it reboot. But if I install any program of I cannot install any program of x86 applications. Even if I try it closes the screen. I am not able to understand where the problem is? Please let me know if you are aware of the problem.

    Re: Defected Core i5-760

I think that core i5-760 is still in the state of testing due to which you cannot come to a conclusion. I think that you are on focusing on processor and you are pointing on processor defect but I think that the problem may be related to RAM as your operating system is rebooting all the time again and again. This problem usually occurs when there is a problem in RAM. I don’t think there might be any problem in core i5 -760. You must check your RAM and then see the change.

I think that the problem is related to the power supply. If your operating system is rebooting again and again then I think there is something wrong in your SMPS. You need get check your SMPS from where the powers supply is coming. I think that there might be no problem in core i5-760 processor. If it’s not in SMPS then for sure the problem is in RAM. It could be either in RAM or SMPS. I think that the problem is within this part only; well I don’t think that there is any problem in processor.

I also think that the problem may be SMPS because I also had this type of problem then I got my computer where I came to know that the problem was in my SMPS. My system was rebooting again and again so then I made my computer checked by the technicians where the main problem was in SMPS. I can assure you that you must first get your SMPS checked and then decide what you have to do. My suggestion to you is that you should first get your SMPS checked which will definitely solve your problem.

I also agree that the problem may be related to SMPS or RAM. Usually, these problems occur when there is a problem in SMPS and RAM. I think that the power supply supplied by SMPS is not reaching its destination. That is why the screen opens and closes its self automatically. You cannot ignore RAM also as it can also have this type of problem. I think that you should check your RAM and SMPS both either one of them is not functioning properly.
