    Intel Q6600 requires Advanced Motherboard

I am actually newbie here, but I require a few Overclock help for my system. I have read a lot of articles and posts, but I am wondering if somebody may have a few helpful advices for my precise case. I am annoying to Overclock my Q6600. Following are all the system spectacles you require:
    • EQUIPMENT

    1. CPU: Intel Quad Core2 Q6600
    2. RAM: vital Ballistix PC 6400 2 GB at 800 MHz
    3. Motherboard: ASUS P5K-E
    4. Heatsink: Cooler Master Hyper 212 PLUS
    5. PSU: ANTEC 650w
    6. The FSB and DRAM Frequency are synchronous
    7. I utilize Prime 95 for more than 8 hours to ensure for system constancy.

    • LAST STABLE SETUP

    1. 3.01 GHz
    2. Multiplier..... 8
    3. FSB NB Strap..... 322 MHz
    4. FSB Frequency..... 322 MHz
    5. PCIE Frequency..... 95 MHz
    6. DRAM Frequency..... 800 MHz
    7. CPU Voltage..... 1.4000v
    8. FSB Termination Volt..... 1.30v
    9. Max CPU Temp = 48c
    10. Max MB Temp = 42c

I also have the similar configuration and have some query. So here are my questions:
    1. For this present setup at 3.41 GHz is my CPU PLL Voltage too superior?
    2. For this existing setup at 3.41 GHz is my FSB Termination Voltage too advanced?
    3. For this present setup at 3.41 GHz is my North Bridge Voltage too elevated?

I on the whole don't wish to exaggerate my components or blaze them. Any additional assist with my queries would be appreciative.

After seeing your configuration and problem, what I understand is:
    1. I think your Northbridge (NB) voltage is well, because the Frequency is higher than 450 MHz.
    2. I am not too certain about your CPU PLL. I don’t' wish to stress the interior clock system, yet since the FSB and VCORE are so elevated, I think you require it superior than default.
    3. I am not certain regarding the FSB Term, Volt also. But I think it wants to stay at or over the genuine VCORE readings.

A Vcore if 1.425 V seems a way too elevated for just 3.4 GHz on an Intel G0, except obviously you contain a high VID chip. I would possibly provide these settings an attempt for 3.7 GHz, with inferior Vcore, and vMCH NB Voltage. And to respond your query: the 3 voltage settings, they appear about right for a FSB of 425MHz. If not needing possibly even additional Vtt and vMCH beside the lines of up to Vtt= 1.5 V and vMCH = 1.65.

What are you utilizing for cooling? Not in my SIG but I still encompass a running Q6600. With the maximum formula x38, 1.45 Vcore 400 FSB x9 and all settings auto its LinX steady. 1.5 Vcore is 3800 MHz at 475 x8 steady and in the i790 MB I killed it was 4G steady at 1.5 Vcore. Above 426 FSB required 1.6 V for the Northbridge.

I also add something over here. How much I know about this, the x38 is not a value; it is a fraction of his motherboard name. As well you might only require additional Vcore. I contain a q6600 G0 stepping, and it wants 1.59 V to be steady at 3.7 GHz. Not all G0 chips are wonderful Overclockers.
