Need Suitable RAM for D102GGC2 Board

Hello friends? In my computer have just 256 MB(533MHz) ddr2 Ram. I am planning on the way to upgrade up to 1gb or 2gb (I imagine this is max).
However my concern is that 533MHz ddr2 will be out of marketplace.
Question 1) as a result can I make use of 667 or 800 MHz ddr2 GB /2 GB ram with no MB (MHz) with Intel Desktop Board D102GGC2?
Question 2) can I make use of 667 or else 800 MHz ddr2 GB /2 GB ram by means of MB (MHz) with Intel ® Desktop Board D102GGC2 ?
Or else you may possibly provide me best recommendation what should do because I don’t throw 256mb ram as well as increase E-waste.

The humorous thing regarding RAM is that yet if you encompass three modules of DDR2 - 2GB each one, running at 800 MHz, I think it will down-grade their performance on the way to match the reduced performance of a single 256 MB module. As a result, you be able to go ahead as well as choose the RAM sticks of your option as quickly as probable, for the reason that the prices of DDR2 are by now shooting up in comparison on the way to DDR3.As well as do consider the value of keeping one RAM slot engaged by means of a measly 256 MB stick. I propose that you take away it totally as well as remain it handy for future use .

I for myself have been using 1 stick of 1GB as well as an additional of 512MB both at 667MHZ by means of D102, through no troubles at all. As a result I am certain it would not be a trouble now go ahead as well as purchase as well as do obtain rid of the 256MB stick or else at least purchase a 1GB stick..(Do remain in brain this motherboard be able to just support up-to 2Gb of ram)

yelp that I observe in Intel website that it maximum support up to 2gb. Can you recommend me, may I be able toI make use of 256mb as well as 1 gb ram simultaneously at different MHz?? At the same time as you be familiar with I have 256mb at 533 MHz furthermore can I add 1 GB ram through 667 or else 800 MHz??Will two dissimilar MHZ ram cause a trouble?
If yes after that I will throw 256mb as well as go only with 2gb ram.

yes you be able to make use of ram of different frequencies jointly, just that yet at what time your new ram be able to support a advanced frequency it will function according on the way to your old one at 533Mhz, and as far as I believe 533MHz the maximum frequency yet support by your motherboard. I do not believe it be able to support 667 MHz however I am not so certain on this.

As [per my knowledge your board supports two GB of PC2-4300 which match up on the way to 533 MHz. Yes, you be able to make use of whichever RAM speed as long as it is DDR2 as well as in several combination whatsoever. Keeping or else using the old RAM stick it totally depends on your financial plan .
