    Motherboard Dead In HCL Desktops

I have brought the whole package of the HCL accessories for my home computer. And the whole system is HCL without any assembling of other companies in it. The Mother Board that I am using is of ASUS P5P and the Processor is of the Intel company that is I am using the Intel p4 which is having the RAM specification of 256 MB. Just recently I tried out with the power option in it, but in vain the system did not responded. I checked it out with the Local Serving Center then the message was shown that the Motherboard has been shorted. Please tell me the solutions through which I can change or just re-pair the motherboard and also if possible just tell me how to upgrade my RAM.

The finding of the Motherboard for the Intel p4 and the DR RAM is quite difficult and the utilities are quite hard to find for the system requirement that you have specified before. You can get the instead the new motherboard, CPU, RAM and PSU. Also see the specification that has been described in your motherboard system. If the motherboard that you have got is not the official place and might be that you have got the motherboard that was not working properly before.

Also you can try out by finding it out whether the PSU is working properly or not. The PSU is the only factor that will effect the Computer motherboards if it is not working properly for you. It will not take much time to check out whether the PSU is working properly or not. And if after all the test you find it that the PSU is having the problem then you have to only change the PSU and not all the whole system.

Hey thank you, all of you peoples I got the error that has caused me this problem. The error was of the PSU and not of the system. The PSU have supplied the current of high voltage to the motherboard that led to the shorting of the motherboard and then leading it to the dead state. I told the computer person and he told me that it can be solved within a day. But I don't know which PSU to use for it. Kindly suggest me the PSU's for it. And also the specification of 1GB RAM, which one to use.

The PSU of the FSP saga II 350W is the better option for the PSU because it provides you with the power and reliability. And also that it is equipped with the SATA and the PCI e-connections and also the compatibility with the latest system is ensured. And in the specification it has been given as that it comes with the ATX-power supply, the Power cable and also the Operating instructions.

Other think is the use of the FSP saga II 400W and the CX400W. The FSP saga II 350W is for Rs.1500 and the FSP saga II 400W is for Rs.2000. And the CX400W is for Rs.2700. And the DDR RAM of 1GB that you want can be of the Hynix DDR Computer RAM – 1GB, Kingston DDR RAM For Desktop – 1GB and of the Transcend DDR RAM For Desktop- 1GB are the better option for the DDR RAM that you want to use. You can also make the use of the 24 pin connectors, and also the extra pins can also be attached in it.
