Unable to run the Core 2 Duo E7200 at native speed

I have a Core 2 Duo E7200 and using it from the last few months and that with the windows 7 operating system on my Asus Eee PC 1005HA. It has the mother board of ASUS P5Q-Deluxe. Recently I have upgraded the chipset as well as the BIOS of my system. I have done the upgradation as per ASUS Support. But from then I am not able to get the satisfying speed with the processor. I have tried all the possible things but still the speed that I am getting is to low. According to the specification I should get the speed of 2.53 HGHZ, but I am hardly getting the speed close to it and when I run my CPU it shows me the speed between 1603 MHz and 2533 MHz. Please help me in this case and let me know how to get the maximum native speed and if not then at east tell me how to increase the speed of the processor without doing any hardware changes.

I have gone through your problem and it seems to me that there is something wrong with the processor of yours. Or it may have happen that the memory of your system is almost full. If the memory of the system is full then the processor tends to be slow. Also the thing here is that if your system as the memory filled then will become slow because the processor has to deal will lots of application and folders that are present in the system.

I guess that you have to check the fan of the processor is in working condition or not. Because if the fan is not working properly then the heat in the system will increase and it may happen that the excessive heat may hamper the speed of the processor. So what you have to do here is that just check out that the fans in the cabinet are working properly or not and always try to keep the system cool use heat sink material that will help you to absorb the heat. And once the heat will absorb it will reduce the pressure in there and let the processor to work freely. If you found heat increasing in your system then change the fan of the cabinet and always keep the atmosphere around the system cool.

I guess the system of yours is slow because you must be using the RAM of less memory. So what you have to do here is just purchase a RAM that too of more than 5 GB that will help you to speed up the performance of your system. And if still the speed is low then it may have happen that the operating system that you are using may have got corrupted and must not be coping with the system needs. So try and uninstall the operating system and later on again install the fresh copy of it. I hope that this will help you for sure. And if not the you have to visit the nearest service center of inlet and register your complaint that the speed of the system is not up yo the mark. And i hope that they will see to it as soon as possible and will fix your problem with no issue remaining behind.

If you are not getting enough speed with the processor of yours even though you are having all the latest configuration to support it that is the ram and the hard disk then there is the problem in your system it self . I guess that your system has been attacked by virus and they must have corrupted all your program files and that is the reason why you are getting low native speed. So in thin case what you have to do is just hard reset you r system that is again install the operating system and see to it whether the speed is still low or not. I guess it will solve your problem and still if you are getting the same issue then just change your processor itself.

Just download updated drivers and bios and then see whether there is any change in the systems speed and if you have to check the exact speed of the CPU then you have to download the CPU-Z that will show you the exact speed of the system. And there may be case that some of your programs are still running behind the screen that is at background and that may keep the CPU working 24 hours and due to that it showing slowing down in the speed. I hope that this will help you in increasing the CPU’s native speed and also the performance of the CPU will increase.
