    Reducing CPU voltage

    My System is

AMD Phenom II X2 [email protected].
    3 GB DDR2 ram.
    Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H Motherboard.
    Sapphire Radeon Hd 5570.
iball 400 watts Power supply with 17A on +12V rail.
    Windows 7 ultimate.

I was facing overheating problems.my CPU idles at 55c and goes high upto 68-70c on full load.I lowered my CPU voltage from 1.35v to 1.20 and that significantly reduced my temperature.now CPU idles at 40c and goes high upto 55c,the highest temperature was 60c but it never exceed beyond that.to confirm the stability,I ran prime95 for about an hour and passed successfully.my all games are running fine as well.is it fine to lower a CPU voltage or am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks for your Answers.

    Re: Reducing CPU voltage

Its fine if your games and rest of the programs are not causing any problem. Also, 45 to 55c is fine with a normal Computer. Jujst be relaxed. You can find some more information about these from these posts:
