    i5 430m vs i3 350m

I need your opinions over two Intel processors. I am planing to replace my old processor with new intel processor. I am thinking about Intel core i5 430m and Intel core i3 350m. I have gone through many websites but didn't get more details over these processors. I wonder if you are let me know the features of Intel core i5 430m and Intel core i3 350m. So that I will be helpful for me to make selection between these two.

The Core i5 range of Intel is the midpoint of its range for processors between the lines Core i3 (Entry level) and Core i7 (High end). This processor using Nehalem architecture, which bring many changes over its predecessor. In this processor appearance of L3 cache 8 million (2 million for the Phenom and 6 million for the Phenom II), the L2 (256 KB) Will not be shared (L1 = 2 ×32 KB).

As per my information the Intel Core i3 is the entry level processors based on the microarchitecture Westmere. It connects the socket LGA1156. Standard LGA1156 has been developed by Intel. It is based on a matrix tablets present on the underside of processor. The number 1156 refers to the number of electrical contacts between the socket and the processor.

This intel i5 430m processor integrated with Turbo Boost feature. Opened with Core i5, Mode Turbo can overclock one or multiple cores while deactivating others and staying within the limits fixed by the TDP. Upon investigation, it turned out that those responsible would be designed by the socket LGA1156 Foxconn which processor socket contacts are not perfect which prevents the latter to receive all the energy it needs.

According to me you need to go for Intel core i3 350m rather than Intel core i5 430m. Because there are many limitations in the Intel core i5 processors. The limitation relates to the management of DMI between the chipset and processor with a throughput tops out at 2 GB/s against 25.6 GB/s for the QPI. The chipset has more lines PCIe 1.0 manage SATA ports, USB, Gigabit Lan and HD audio.

In Intel core i3 350m the integration into the same socket a GPU engraved in 45nm, making it the first CPU-PGI. Initially processor Havendale should be the first model produced by CPU-Intel IGP. This processor models focused on the introduction of Braidwood technology. This technology should help accelerate the transfer with the addition of a chip etched into 34 nm and a connector.
