    GA-X58A-UD5 + 930 disappearing RAM

I am facing a weird problem in my computer, that is running Windows 7 operating system along with 6 GB RAM and Core2Duo processor. The situation is with the GA-X58A-UD5 + 930 disappearing RAM. The problem happens when I leave the system idle for sometime. It seems that the 4 GB RAM from the 6 GB gets registered in the BIOS. I am not able to understand why this is happening. Kindly help me with the solutions that can be used in this situation.

    A BIOS issue

Hello there, the GA-X58A-UD5 + 930 disappearing RAM clearly seems to be a BIOS issue to me. So, there is a need to upgrade the BIOS to the latest version, so that this situation can be eradicated. If you do not do the upgradation of the BIOS to the newest version available, then many such problems will be encountered in the near future. Wish you all the best.

    The safe mode

Does this problem of GA-X58A-UD5 + 930 disappearing RAM happen in the safe mode? If you have not tried out the same, then start the computer in this particular mode. You will get this option by pressing F8, that is before the startup of the operating system. If there are no such issues in this mode, then there is a need to repair the copy of the system, that is installed in your computer.

Have you done an upgradation of this operating system? If yes, then this is the main problem.
