Core i7-930 Vs Phenom II X4 940

Hello Friends,

I have computer system with old configuration, and so I have to do the complete system upgrade. Because of that I am looking for best processor. I am having two choices for this processor, i.e Intel Core i7-930 and another is AMD Phenom II X4 940 processor. According to you which is the best processor between these two Intel and AMD processor? Please don't hesitate to let me know your opinion.

I think you should buy Intel Core i7-930 processor rather than AMD Phenom II X4 940. This Intel processor has support to DDR3-800/1066 memory. The maximum memory size of Intel Core i7-930 processor is about 24 GB. The sockets which is Supported for this Intel processor is 'FCLGA1366'. The performance of this Intel processor is more as compare to Phenom II X4 940.

Dude it supports the latest hyper-threading technology which is almost impossible..

But if you are not in a hurry AMD will soon launch x6 core processor.

amd is pretty cheap than Intel product's.
