    Hello to all

Here I have a big problem with my bios (I think) since after reinstalling my windows xp sp2, I still have the same problem of losing my wifi connection.

Besides paying to technician, does there is another way?

    BIOS Date: 18/JUIN/2003
    Chipset: VIA 82C3099rev0
    Motherboard: VT8367-8235
    Manufacturer: VIA Tecnologies, Inc.
    OS: Microsoft Windows XP 2
    Internal Memory: 1024MB

    thank you for your help

    Hello and welcome

    1) PC or laptop?
    2) The above report you missing a host of drivers, give me a screenshot of your device manager.
    3) How far your computer THERE from your wifi box and is there a wall or floor separating them?

I do not see the connection between your bios and the quality of your WiFi reception. Even on a laptop, because you did not say whether you own a PC or laptop, the WiFi card is independent of the bios. Also you have to pay anything, the drivers are free.

I had a BIOS upgrade a few years back and I paid $80 for that because MSI had stopped supporting the mobo. I wanted to use HD more than 40Gb but mobo was limited and didn't upgraded the hole machine. And MSI people gave me wrong BIOS and i send mobo for reconfirmation, They insisted it was correct, I got screwed anyway. The BIOS flash process had no errors, so it was their bad BIOS.

This means the default program configuration of your wireless connection is that the card manufacturer. Normally this program should be in your program list , or it should be an icon in the taskbar at the bottom right. You click it and you should have your setup.

Have you selected the wireless connection? If this is not where you right click on it / activate , Are you administrator of your PC?
