Over Heating help, newly built pc!

    Hey,

If any of you guys could help me out with this i would be so greatful,
I just built a new computer (It's a Christmas gift for someone), the specifications are as follows:

-Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93 Ghz (stock heatsink)
    -Gigabyte EP41-UD3L Motherboard
    -4gb DDR2 RAM
    -Radeon HD4350
-Vantec Ion2 620W Power Supply with 135mm silencer fan

I initially had BSOD errors 'IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL' however these were easy fixed. The computer initially shut down whenever i ran too many programs and the CPU temperature would reach well over 100 degrees celcius. I bought the new larger better quality power supply/fan (Vantec) which helped this, however it still gets very hot and can reach the 100 degree mark!

    Please examine this snapshot,

Can you see anything wrong (I don't understand this stuff too well) however the Power, System 1 and System 2 in the Fan section worries me.. what does this mean?

    any help would be amazing!
    Thanking you in advance!

    Jack

You applied a THIN layer of thermal paste to the cpu before attaching the heatsink?

The heatsink is firmly attached (all 4 legs snapped in securely)?

The cpu fan runs as soon as you boot?

The other fan sensors won't detect a fan operating unless the fan is conected to a sensor point.

All 4 legs are firmly attached i've checked this a thousand times, however i did not use any thermal paste, how crucial is the thermal paste? and how much will it actually improve the temperatures?

thanks for the information about the fans .

If you are having the problem of overheating and you are not able to overcome this problem of your computer system. If you are keeping your computer ata a place where the sunlight come directly on the computer system or from the windows. Change the place of your computer system. If possible keep your computer in the Air Conditioned room. If this is also not resolving your problem then you should chek the power supply of your computer system. You should always use the UPS for the power supply. This device gives power supply only require to operate the computer system. This manages power supply very properly.
