Core i7 975 Extreme with Dominatar Ram

Hi ive just purchased a motherboard PT6 Deluxe Vr2, GTX 260 Superoverclocked eddition and 3x 2GB of DDR3 Doominator ram.

The ram is 1600MHZ, Ill be also purchasing a core i7 975 cpu. But before i do this,
can some1 tell is this Doominator Ram Compadible with i7 975?? and is it suitable? is there something i need to be aware of?

It is little bit expensive your processor and all your hardware products but too good for future and faster than ever all latest hardware in market.This processor combined with a petit frequency increase and some minor subtle changes that make the fast even faster. Regarding 1600 MHz RAM,the fact that your CPU operates on a 1,600MHz front-side bus (400MHz x 4) that does not mean you have to run the RAM at that speed. You can actually run it at the standard 9-9-9-24 speeds at 1,333MHz without increasing the voltage to the RAM. So all to all it is good configuration.
