Motherboard supporting both DDR and DDR 2

I wanted to know if there is a motherboard that supports both DDR and DDR 2, with PCI Express x16 and which also supports Intel multi-core (2Duo, Quad and Extreme) socket 775. Let me explain why I need: I recently purchased 1 GB DDR RAM for my old motherboard, now I want to change the motherboard processor and video card (I do not care about band enthusiast !) and I would not throw the RAM just purchased. I was directed towards the ASUS P5GD1 but I do not think it supports multicore processors.

The one that comes to mind is the 4core ASRock Dual SATAII, has 2 slots DDR2 and DDR 2 slot, plus it has both AGP and PCI-Express slot but only at 4x, unfortunately from the list of CPUs supported is 45nm processors. Here you can find more information (the first card in list nn nothing to do) ...

First of all thank you for your answer. The card that I have said is very interesting. I seem to remember that there was a motherboard that had slots for both DDR and DDR2 for both DDR3, am I wrong? However as an ATI video card would be fine even if the HD4670 1 GB PCI Express asrock is 4x? I'm not interested in the latest games, but I wish I could play well in Gothic 3 and Mass Effect. What do you say?

I honestly do first to throw the ddr ram which to buy a motherboard with DDR1 +2 and a slot pciex 4x.

First, because surely the x4 slot limits vga performance; second because using DDR1 RAM on a modern CPU 775 have a further decline.

Whereas DDR1 1GB Ram will cost a 2100 if the dealer pays for the least expense and you forbid.

Anyway I can always bring back the ram (I bought it yesterday) and take a 1 GB DDR2 which costs even less. For the rest of the motherboard, video card and processor do not want to spend as much (21000 is too much) to do anyway for a computer that I need to be just fine. What do you think?

It doesn't make any sense to go and hunt in a thicket of DDR technology for 2100, which (as you said) you can also report back.

Buy direct a new system you do first. As budgets go to AMD AM3 and DDR3 ensuring expandable in future (unless you have not already home socket 775 processors you want to use).
