E8400 or Q8200

Hi,

I get my motherboard. Now I turn Vista into the future and want to run Windows 7. I have 4 GB dual channel memory and one PCI-e video card slightly. The heaviest I use the PC for editing raw files (RAW) of approximately 15 mb. I do this in a program of Olympus and Elements 7. Right now after spending so much money i can only afford processors of the Intel E8400 and Q8200, Which one will give better performance?

I think you should choose according to your budget, so take the cheapest processor. The difference with those operations will be more than a few milliseconds, with the program that you are planning to use with it. Anyway, I say a Quad.
