The cache is a fast memory that serves as a buffer between the RAM and processor. The processor will store the information it has most frequently needed. There is a also cache for the browser including Firefox and Netscape directory whose cache is meant for faster access to web page

The memory is called RAM, is the main system memory is a process for temporarily storing data during execution of a program. The RAM is temporary it can store data while the PC is running. Thus, whenever the PC is closed all data in memory are erased. The pagefile.sys is Virtual memory has the same function as RAM

    Re: What is system cache?

In computing, a cache or cache memory is relatively small and fast that stores the most used information from another memory that is larger and slower. A cache system is a set of functions that can store data in a location which can be accessed quickly and efficiently , Caches are small banks of memory used to accelerate a larger memory bank is closer and faster processor. To speed up operations in the microprocessor, L1 cache memory is installed above the microprocessor. This makes the transaction depends solely on the speed of the microprocessor and not the speed of a memory bus

memory: memory is not permanent, it is also fast but not than cache , used to store more or less temporarily information, code or data.

The cache is used in particular between the CPU and RAM , A cache is relatively a small and fast memory that stores your most used information from another larger and slower memory . It serves to accelerate the processing to retrieve data faster. Data can be such a program, a block of image processing, etc. ... The source may for example be a hard disk, memory, etc. .
