How to upgrade ghz

hi
i am having old computer which says 1.6 ghz in my computer property,this i slow for converting video and copying data also playing good game is also not possible so iam looking for upgrade my ghz is there any way to increase it ?

Basically all motherboard that come from manufacture are locked at certain frequency according to there peripheral configuration but you can increase that frequency by overclocking it. If you overclock you can able to increase Ghz but there may be chance of instability for hole configuration so you need to learn for better overclocking.

Now your whole configuration is old now if you try for overclock you have to do that for ram , motherboard and processor in combine manner for proper working and after all this there is no guarantee that your game will play better as there is lack of graphics accelerator so better to go for new computer with good configuration.
