Is it possible for me to Mixing pc 2100 with pc2700 , Is it possible to save the PC2100 and PC2700 in the same time? what will be the frequencies (fsb?)
Thanks for the help .

The FSB is the bus that allows the CPU to communicate with the rest of the machine. On my X P 1800 + is 133 Mhz. Then there is the speed of RAM is often adjustable independently.
The 2100 supports DDR speeds of 133 MHz and supports DDR 2700 speeds of 166 Mhz (sometimes one speaks of the double abuse of language, which gives 2100 = 266 = 2700 MHz and 333 MHz).
If you mix the two, the 2100 necessarily a speed of 133 Mhz (it can not go higher).
So you settled through the FSB and RAM speed of 133 MHz.
If you increase the FSB, so watch the speed also increases the CPU is overclocking (unless you lower the multiplier). The speed of the CPU is given by the following calculation: FXB x coeff. On a XP 1800 + which has an actual speed of 1533, it gives 133 x 11.5 = 1533.
Normally you can mix the two, but the two strips running at the speed of the slowest. In your case, your FSB should be 133 and your RAM as a 133 (as is the speed of 2100)
What i think is there will be no extra boost to your computer if you install a system using [B]PC2100 RAM, but you will have some problems when you install a PC2100 in system which is running PC2700 there will be drop in speed .
PC2100 and PC2700 are the same port assignment, and only differ in the speed (133 / 166 MHz). PC2700 will be much faster as you can see .
