So I finally got my new pc built and it keeps shutting off after a minute or two of being turned on. I am trying to boot from the disk with the drivers for my motherboard and it shuts off. I go into the BIOS and check the PC Health status and checked the CPU temp. It says its running at like 100C (200 something Fahrenheit) which is absurd especially after only a min or two. Could there be a problem with the CPU? I double checked the heat sink and fan to make sure everything was probably in place and I'm still having the problem. Its a Intel Pentium 4 3.0ghz processor on the NVIDIA 750i FTW motherboard. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated on what I should do.
