check cmos battery

I always have to replace CMOS Battery everytime as it gives me no battery error.... So just wanted to know weather there is anyway to check the battery in CMOS....????? Please Help...!

No dear! Actually to my knowledge there is no way to check it... A weak or Dead CMOS Battery result is shown in your setting being lost or computer is unplugged is shown. It means your CMOS Battery is gone.

If it shows you up with some lines on startup of computer like "CMOS Checksum error, load optimized defaults?" That means the computer is asking for a new battery....! Or your computer time works slow or fast. I mean that if your computer losses world time.. Then also it says the similar thing that the computer needs to replace the CMOS Battery....!
