    hi,
I recently got a new evga 750i FTW motherboard to replace 780i motherboard. but the new motherboard giving startup problems.after starting computer it will suddenly just turn off. Could it be a PSU problem? of maybe a problem due to me switching the motherboard out?

i should have gotten one, did u check if the ram is on the supported memory list for that motherboard? my case is too small to run 2 x 8800gts, cooling constraints and i like my computer quiet. 2 would make me run my case fans faster. on low right now, i got an GA-P35-DS3L instead.

This may be caused by your computer overheating. Has your computer been making much noise lately? You may need to replace a fan in your tower.
Try opening up the tower and then starting up the computer to see if the fans are running properly. If a fan is either no working or if there is one making unusual noises then I would get a new fan. While the tower is open, I would suggest cleaning the inside by blowing all of the dust our with canned air. Sometimes collected dust can slow down the ventilation in some areas.

    hi
,faulty motherboard placement can cause issues like turning off on its own,may be u should check the screws if any are not holding the motherboard tight.and misplaced jumpers on the board can cause conflicts.you should try loading optimal default's in BIOS.Works for me some times.
