AMD or Intel

My old system is close to dying so I am thinking of to buy motherboard and processor. I am bit confused when talking about processor. Which to buy. I know about both AMD and Intel. But Intel systems seem more expensive. Should I go with an Intel or an AMD system? Which has the most flexibility and overclocking potential?

I am an INTEL user and in my opinion INTEL is far more better than AMD.

In terms of price, Intel may be costlier but can't you compromise on cost to get better performance and future expandability. If I were to choose between AMD and Intel system, then I would have gone for Intel because that's the best one in today's world.
