Putting CPU on the motherboard!

I am not sure about this processor i have fixed on my Gigabyte motherboard.
The processor is AMD64 i fitted fine, pushed down the lever, put on the heatsink & completed the rest of the build. But then i thought that i may not have pressed the processor down. I dont know will that be a problem?

According to me there is no question to worry about. You have fitted the processor correctly as you have pushed the processor down before moving the lever.
