I would like to know that why you want to swap with your old GPU as this PC has got very good GPU and is bets for gaming. So I would say that instead of changing the GPU use the card which comes with the machine.

According to me if you want to swap the GPU from the old one to new one then it can be done but for that you have to get new PSU but doing this can void warranty.

I don’t think so 9600 gt may require new PSU as it is sufficient to provide enough powersupply . as most of the PSU comes with the 6 pin power supply.

And if not then for this you may require external adapter cable.

The best thing which I like about this PC is that it come with the intel i7 2600 processor and also comes AMD Radeon HD 5870 graphics card which can support all high end games. so if you preferring for buying the PC specially for playing games then I feel that you should go with this rather than going with other.

I don’t think so it is possible to upgrade the PC with Graphics Card and more hard drive space. Because even I wanted to upgrade the PC but when asked to the Dell support care they told me that it is not possible to upgrade it. but still I want you to confirm it by asking to the dell support care.
