Unable to get SLI option with two GeForce GTX260 installed on SLI motherboard

Well I am having couple of GeForce gtx260.
Below mentioned is the computer configuration

Windows 7 x64
11GB DDR3 RAM
intel i7 cpu 920 2.67ghz
750w sli certified psu
msi -x85m mobo

I am not able to get SLI option on my system. can you provide me any troubleshoot problem to fix the problem of mine? Thanks a lot in advance.

I was also facing the same issue which you have stated over here. I found that the second graphic card was placed in wrong PCIe slot –x4 not at -8x. after placing the same at the correct slot I reinstalled the drivers and SLI detected. Finally both the graphic cards started to work without having any issue.

Well I am highly suspecting that there is an issue with the memory clock of both the cards. I know that there would not be any issue GPU core clock can be different but hence I recommend that make the memory clock value to exactly same.

Looking at the situation I am suspecting that there is an issue with the driver itself. I think you will be resolve the issue after installing latest version of the graphic card drivers. You can get the drivers from the official website of the graphic card manufacturer. You should not forget to reboot the computer after installing the drivers.
