Video glitches and dots with MSI GTX 580 OC

In my computer I am facing problem with the video. I have MSI GTX 580 OC graphic card and I am using windows 7 operating system in my computer. In my computer I have ASUS Striker II NSE motherboard. Now in my computer I am facing problem with while watching videos online and playing games. Sometimes I get green dots on screen and many times screen flickers also. Please tell me what should I do to solve this problem?

You should first remove MSI GTX 580 OC graphic card from your computer and after removing graphic card from your computer you have to reset the graphic card in your computer again and after reseating the graphic card in your computer you have to check whether same problem is occurring or not.

If you have already tried to solve this problem by reseating the MSI GTX 580 OC graphic card in your computer and after that also same problem is occurring then there is a possibility of having problem with the PCI-e slot. On your motherboard if you have another PCI-e slot then you should remove the MSI GTX 580 OC graphic card and connect it with the different PCI-E slot and after trying that you have to check whether it makes any difference or not.

I would like to tell you that you should check another graphic card with your computer and then you have to check whether you are facing same problem with graphics or not. If you are facing same problem with the graphics again then problem is with your motherboard. Try this trick and you will be able to know about the exact problem.

I have tried to solve this problem by reseating the b MSI GTX 580 OC graphic card in my computer and after reseating the graphic card also I was facing same problem with my computer. Now after that I have also tried different PCI-e slot and after that also I get same problem. With other computer my graphic card works fine.

Now what should I so to solve this problem?

As you have mentioned that with other computer your MSI GTX 580 OC graphic card works properly and that is why I would like to tell you that you should first try to solve this problem by reinstalling the graphic card and if that idea does not work then you should also try to solve this problem by downloading the latest drivers from the MSI and then installing that in your computer.

You can also try to solve this problem by updating the BIOS in your computer. You have to download latest BIOS file from internet and then you to update the BIOS after making bootable CD of that and then your problem will get solved.

Yes I agree with the above solution updating the BIOS can help you to solve this problem. In my computer I was also having the same problem with the Nvidia graphitic and after that I have update the BIOS in my system and then my problem get solved.
