Samsung 55C8000 Red Power Light keeps blinking

I recently bought new Samsung 55C8000 at home and I am having some problem with power led light. It is always blinking like I am operating my TV from remote. I am not able to use anything from menu. What can be the cause of it .It only goes if I turn off the and unplug the tv.

The blinking of the light indicates that your tv is receiving the signal from your remote. It must be issue related to your remote pointing somewhere on the screen. May be buttons on the remote are getting pressed. Does look like, you can solve this problem by changing the remote.

Before you change the remote, just check if it’s really that big issue with the remote. May be you have dropped your remote and your batteries are misplaced. Try reinstalling the batteries and see if this can solve the problem.

Hey, thanks for your suggestions, I resolved my problem. I called the technical support and they inspected that there were some connection problem with my tv and remote. Now as my tv is in warranty they are sending me new TV.
