Not able to use 23Hz/59Hz settings on G6x graphics.

I am having 2401 driver and I have been facing random resolution problem, I mean that when I am selecting 23 Hz then I am getting 1280x720 and sometimes I am getting 1024x768 but then I am not getting 1920x1080. I have also tried out that the framedrops every 30 seconds, I don’t know what is the issue all about, is there anyone who has faced the same and has an idea about it and can help me out as well??

Before I suggest you anything I want to know about the system specification that you are using, just provide the same for further help.

    I am having the following:
    • CPU: Core i3 2100T
    • Motherboard: Asus P8H67-I Deluxe
    • Memory: 2x1 GB Samsung DDR3
    • TV: Panasonic G20 50" (It is connected with HDMI)

Is there any solution or workaround that I can try out??

I was having the same problem with 2500K and Gigabyte GA-H67MA-UD2H-B3 and in my case my primary port is Display port but then I am getting the bsod when I am connecting to the HDMI. Even though after having all the latest drivers as well I was getting the bsod error, I was trying to find a solution for the same and I found one guy mentioning that the hdmi works well after downgrading to 2279 and I did the same and the problem was solved. Just try it out and then let me know if it is solving the issue or not.

I am having the same problem and I am facing this problem with the other drivers rather than ASUS and I did not faced the problem with the 2401 as well but then the problem here is that when I am using 2401 then I am not able to use 23Hz/59Hz settings, I mean that when I am setting and then applying the changes then the resolution gets changed to 1024x768 no matter what changes I had made, I really don’t know why I am facing this problem. Can anyone help me out as well??

Even I am having the exact problem and I did not have any problem in installing all the windows updates. I have found that the system is able to run standard vga drivers and I have tried out with DVI and HDMI as well but then the problem that I am facing here is that it is making the system reboots after "starting windows" loading screen, I was not having the same problem before installing latest intel graphics drivers, I am having a GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 and it is just failing with DVI & HDMI. I have also tried out the below drivers but then even they did not helped:
    • Win7Vista_64_152113
    • Win7Vista_64_15221

Is there any other solution that I can try out??

I have tried out some more workaround, I mean that I have just made a fresh installation of the Windows 7 again and this time I have installed it without the SP1. I have also installed the 2291 and now I am able to select the 23 Hz in the menu but then when I am checking the MPC-HC then the refresh rate is still shown as 24 Hz, Her I have tried enabling and disabling the UAC as well but then it is not making much difference, the only difference that it is making is that I am getting a double frame every 30 seconds. So here I just wanted to know that is there anything else that I will have to change to get 23.976 Hz?? Till then I will suggest others to do the same as I think that disabling UAC is the actual workaround for it.

As far as I am aware I don’t think that the UAC mode that you are talking about is not supported by the Intel but then I have checked out in a no of forum and I have also found that it is possible to get almost 23 by turning off the UAC but then if it is not then I think that it would be just a name for the 24 Hz. I have also found that even if you have the latest "testing" driver i.e 2401 it is not possible to achieve 23 Hz and no matter you have the UAC turned off or on.
