Can I get maximum resolution of 2560x1440 in GeForce GTX 460M?

I am having GeForce GTX 460M. I am having 27'' monitor and I am looking to get 2560x1440 resolution @ 60Mhz. I am not able to get the option into the display settings on system. Let me know if you are having any idea how can I get the above mentioned resolution on the monitor of mine.

After going through the requirement of yours I wanted to tell you that 2560 x 1600 is maximum resolution which you can get. However can you tell me which monitor do you using?

Thanks a lot for the prompt reply of yours. I wanted to tell you that the system of mine is having support 1920 x 1200. However I wanted to get higher resolution so how can I get the same? I am having Dell UltraSharp U2711 monitor. Now tell me how can I get the requirement of mine.

You can use the following instructions to get the requirement of yours.
    1. You have to launch the Nvidia Control Panel on the computer.
    2. Now you should select Monitor and click on the customize.
    3. After that you will get the create custom resolution where you will be able to enter native resolution of Dell.

So try the same and let me know whether it was useful to you or not.

Well I am suspecting that there could be an issue with the graphic card drivers. So I am suggesting that you should visit the official website of the graphic card manufacturer and look for the latest version of the graphic card drivers. You should download and install the same on the computer. after installing the drivers you will require to reboot the computer.

If you are not able to fix the matter of yours then I recommend that you should contact the technical support team and get the further assistance on this particular matter.
