ATI Radeon HD 4870X2 memory clock gets stuck every minute in AMD Overdrive

I was very much interested in overclocking my HD 4870x2. So I did overclocked it but the performance did not seemed to be meeting my expectation. When I performed opening the AMD overdrive I experienced that "Current Values" of the both the GPU Clock showed them at their least levels 507MHz GPU and 500MHz Mem. The same happened with the Memory Clock as well . This is very disappointing performance and I am very upset. I am trying to essentially re-connect the qualities by utilizing the Test Custom Clocks but it too got stucked.

What I have done is that I have changed some settings. Such as the settings in Sliders by lowering it and tried to connect through the qualities but either technique moreover has no impact. The very next thing I did is that I'm a running the 11.9 driver package from the AMD website.

I am getting sick of this too. When I am in a situation like this my works get affected. I have searched on web for my "HD 4870x2 times stucked "Now moving on with a temporary one and one more thing that the PowerPlay is not my situation or at any rate not my while situation. As I as likely as not ought to have expressed in the first
post, those are the qualities that AMD Overdrive.

While playing Borderlands, but I attempted it with 5 alternate amusements and got the definite same outcome GPU registers 99% use, but the present qualities remained bound to least. Besides, I might as well likewise indicate that when I chose the second GPU from the drop down post following to the Auto-Tune catch, it indicated 0% action and the same least timekeeper qualities. Now, I don't know if the several articles are identified (min esteem and second GPU latent), or even if the second GPU is supposed to be engaged to any detectable degree, but something tells me that this isn't simply some powersaving offer.

Gaming in windowed mode or alt-tabbing out will keep / reset timekeepers to 2D speeds. Screen card with RivaTuner 2.24c and set OSD to demonstrate GPU Cores whilst gaming. Heat up a full screen event and see what's written about the OSD for GPU timekeepers. By the looks of final screenshot, the card was running at full 3D tickers and you alt-tabbed out to get the screen a unmoving 2D GPU Core temp with fan at 25 to 30% and action at 99%.

The representation was taken and trimmed from an a few-screen screenshot while the event was the animated window. I do event in windowed mode receivable to dangers that could essentially consistently head to artifacting then afterward a full framework accident when trying to run an event in full screen mode while an additional screen is likewise associated to the framework. I will attempt RivaTuner to see if what it peruses is any special then what AMD Overdrive demonstrates on the second window while the amusement is running.

For the most part the event begins, within about 60 seconds of starting the screen is attacked by shiningly hued and erratically spaced pixels, following which the event stops then after that the workstation BSOD's and reboots.

I've found that running in windowed mode totally dispenses with the issue, which is why I've been doing it, but now that I know the fix is in addition cutting profoundly into my GPU display, I'd love to attempt and settle the unsteadiness. Loads of pursuits in the past haven't bring about any conceivable explanations or workarounds. On account of it happens in all cases and driver sets, its either a fittings issue or an OS level issue. Build a spare segment on one of those HDDs and fix win7 to test and see if that issue keeps on, and in the event that it does you then attempt the card in a different framework to certify depending on if it is a card or motherboard issue, then go ahead here and tell us.
