Frequently receiving error message check signal cable hdmi on samsung sa350

I have Samsung SA350 monitor. It has a display port on it. I am trying to connect the monitor through hdmi. I have GT570GPU on the system. Things are working fine through vga, but when I hook the same on HDMI it is not working. I am constant getting a check the hdmi signal cable error message on the screen. I had tried various things here but nothing is working.

You might have damage hdmi cable due to which you are not getting the right output. You have to check that first. Try to change the cable or simply connect it on some other pc. This will help you to find the problem. HDMI cables are easily available in the market. You can buy that and check out. If still it is not working then just go ahead an update the video drivers. That will be more helpful in fixing the issue.

It is a common issue of incompatible cables. You have to buy one which your monitor can read. I had faced this problem when I was trying to connect my pc on my TV. The cable compatibility was causing a problem. I was unable to find any problem for the same. I had tried so many things but nothing worked. Then I went on ebay and bought a new one. It was specifically for my TV and it worked.
