    Nvidia's new Anti-aliasing Technology: FXAA

I don't game excessively much recently, except tracking things similar to NVIDIA’s New FXAA Antialiasing Technology are for all time fun. The consequences are motivating, plus it's actually hardware-agnostic plus works on together AMD as well as nVidia cards...I doubt if this will allow me find away through a cheaper video card into the future, at whatever time I come across time to game over again.

The approximate FXAA or Fast ant aliasing is a new Anti-Aliasing that Nvidia trying to compete against AMD MLAA.

NVIDIA's new technology is a post-processing filter that offers, in principle, a visual quality similar to MSAA, but using fewer resources. The result of applying this system of NVIDIA's superior visual quality to MSAA 2x, 4x MSAA slightly lower and very similar to MLAA, the alternative of AMD. So far only found this new technique of ant aliasing in Duke Nukem Forever and FEAR 3. In performance issues we have found that the difference between using FXAA and not impressive. The FPS rate improved substantially.

But best of all, the FXAA can be implemented independently of the hardware manufacturer, it runs under the standard graphics API DirectX 9 (DX9), making it compatible with virtually almost all current graphics hardware even if they is made by Nvidia.

I guess it's a marketing component of nVidia, although I must say that I always liked the graphics manufacturer's green. With the 400 series were a bit behind, but with the 500 series are optimizing performance, cooling and performance at very interesting prices

A small difference between getting a GTX580 and getting a HD6970 using FXAA. From what they say I guess I will have developed Nvidia, but currently is not exclusive to Nvidia drivers as MLAA AMD, so that developers can use it if they want in their games and we use it without having a card Nvidia. I hope you do not exclusive and we can use it all.

FXAA is twice as fast as MLAA and MSAA. MLAA is a very different sort than FXAA AA, MSAA and SSAA. MLAA is better than SSAA almost because it gives the same or better IQ performance hit deducted against something. However MLAA is a lot slower than 4xAA. FXAA is a very different purpose; AA at no or very little performance hit. AA is FAST. MLAA is to improve IQ.
FXAA is better than all other existing forms of AA LOT less performance because you have to deliver with MSAA, MLAA, SSAA and CSAA.
