How to enable game profiles in Quadro

I am facing a problem with the Nvidia Quadro. I have updated it with the latest drivers for it. None of the game profiles are shown in the Manage 3d settings in nvidia control panel for FX5600. The profiles are shown but only the professional and business profiles but I want to see the game profiles of mine. Is there any way to override the professional and business profiles to that one i.e game profile in the 8800GT series drivers? There is solution available for this but I don’t know actually how to do that so anyone please provide me solution for it.

I am having the solution for you.
    Do the following steps
    • Unpack drivers you downloaded and delete nvwsapps.xm_
    • Rename the nvapps.xm_ to nvwsapps.xm_
    • Now install the drivers
    • If you want to use both the professional as well as gaming profiles so you need to extract both xm_ to xml use windows integrated extract program to do this.
    • Integrate them in one with only one header.
    • Name it to nvwsapps.xml
    • Delete the compressed xm_

Try those steps it will add the game profiles in Nvidia control panel.

Hello, the solution provided above works for me but it given me file missing problem when I first tried this solution. I have required to swap the files and not to delete one of them. If I tried to delete the file as you described then the setup won’t install successfully. Then I ahev flipped those files. And setup works perfectly. And successfully added geforce profiles into the Quadro profiles. I know that the quadro cards are not made for gaming. But it is the only card for the macPro Workstation.

I am suggesting you to not to use the qudro card for gaming since those cards are made for workstation only and not for the gaming. I am also having quadro 5600 running with vista 64 bit operating system. I am facing problem while playing games over this card . When I tried to play the crysis on it. This card causing major problems with it therefore I am suggesting you not to use this card for gaming otherwise you will burn your card for gaming.

Re: How to enable game profiles in Quadro

Does anyone know how to use it with the latest drivers. I need the help to do with latest drivers. I am using windows 7 64 bit . Currently the latest drivers for the Quadro are 197.28. I tried to follow the steps as provided for this driver but I can’t able to do this. When I tried to extract the drivers I can’t get any of the file. It doesn’t have the file nvapps.xm . I am having Quadro Fx 5400.So provide me the solution if anyone has for latest version of driver.
