Need best driver for my NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT

Hi friends I have a NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT with the 178.13 driver. I am using it for many months but I found the nvidia Smart Scan and it told me to update my driver 191.07 WHQL. But I examine the description and compatible products; nvidia GeForce 7800 which is not there. So I think this will not work with mine. Should I stop at 178.13 or is there an improved driver out present? Please need suggestions as soon as possible.

191.07 drivers effectively support the GeForce 7 Series GPUs. But for me, the best driver is 94.24. I tried some new, but it broke a big part of my game and I did not bring the performance improvements, so I always ended back to 94.24. I like it because you can run all the games, ranging from 1996 to 2009 without problems and are very stable. I have a 7900GT. You can try this if you want and hope this works.

I just tried to make my secondary monitor is my main monitor using a DVI to VGA converter, where monitor and other support DVI. The VGA monitor works with the latest drivers. When I look at the icon in the system device that I can see why that DVI does not work is that it is set to analog. Digital and analog monitors are established with 182.08 drivers effectively, but when a game is running full screen is unreadable. However, the games work well with window performs better than the old drivers.

I removed the Nvidia graphics card and connect the monitor to the onboard graphics card would have been a good thing, but check if it has no VGA cable so the adapter. I have same problem with 7800GT. Pilot 182.08 lists the 7800 GT as the support and install it. Video games window and great career, but I'm having some problems with the games I installed before upgrading. I'm trying to reinstall now to see if it helps at all. I had a 6800 who also worked with the best drivers in it. So I think you must try with 6800. I hope it works for you. All the best!
