Various catch-up TV services are not functional on Philips Blu-Ray players

The Philips had announced that there are some issues regarding a variety of catch-up TV services on Blu-Ray players. The application Icon might display a cross representing that it is not serviceable. They also told that they are working on fresh software or may be a firmware intended for the Blu-Ray players to catch this resolved. It will be presented automatically. They might be doing their most excellent to have it still obtainable as soon as possible. Now it seems to me that they already did it.

I have installed that new Firmware and I utilize the equal login information of Club Philips account like on my 21:9 TV. Though, the crossed out Applications are still there. For instance, the ARD Mediathek is not working on my BDP9600. I can't locate the ARD Mediathek within the BDP-App-Store - except the application is there within the BDP Net TV. Furthermore, I currently have 2 dissimilar Quick Guide applications on my BDP. In that one is from the BDP which is working properly and the other one is from my TV, which is still crossed out. Therefore it would be superior to hold back the TV applications which are not believed to work on the BDP.

The new firmware or the software is already available. In my opinion the new Net TV portal will automatically begin. It functions most excellent through the most up-to-date software. You simply have to agree to the newest software while your TV states it is obtainable. The other think is the portal is not within 21:9 format, it is in 16:9 simply, except through your TV you have the divide display preference, half Net TV plus semi broadcast channel. In support of video content in application’s it is based on how they programmed it, a few will set off full-screen, several won’t.

I actually like the fresh interface. My examinations haven't finished up till now, except it seems we can formulate a completely personalized menu. No surplus application icons any longer. The new firmware offered uncomplicated drag and drop, TV PIP etc. It as well appears to load quicker. But I think that this improvement is not enough. There are still lots of things to be improved. In my point of view:
    • Support for exterior subtitles.
    • A new firmware with the support for a peripheral keyboard otherwise an on-display keyboard like on numerous devices (mobile, remote, PSP and so on.).

I really like the Graphical user interface in the new software released for Philips blueray players. I have liked several apps which have been available from the last year for Philips TV sets. Some of them are quite useful for our daily point of view. I agree with all the improvements they have mode so far but still they need to work on much because still some useful features are missing. The multimedia player did not get the much improvement and there is no support for External support.

The Philips has released its new firmware a few months ago and I have updated it on my TV right away. I thought that this new release will include all the improvements and the several fixes. As promised it has fixed most of the issues regarding the new service application and other connectivity problems. They have also changed the interface and made it very exciting. Still some of the features still lacking in improvements. I don’t know why they haven’t noticed it yet even after several comments from users over it.
